West Cambie
This corner lot landscape blends hardscape and planting through the use of permeable materials and playful geometry. The design features a pool with a decorative drain channel, two fire pits, circular stepping stone pathways, raised steel planters for specimen trees, and permeable bonded gravel pathways and seating areas. Each element was carefully composed to balance function, movement, and visual interest while responding to the character of the home.

Construction required close coordination with other trades on a newly built home, as well as precise execution of complex details. Challenges included achieving a true architectural circle for the stepping stones, managing elevation changes in the front yard, shaping a multi dimensional sloped patio around the pool, and carefully matching materials to complement the architecture.

Through precise planning, skilled execution, and the use of specialized equipment, the project was completed effectively. Retained areas, grading, and drainage requirements were resolved without compromising aesthetics, resulting in a cohesive and dynamic landscape that feels intentional, refined, and showcases how landscaping can become a work of art.
