Step 1 — Phone Call

We begin with an introductory call to discuss your vision, needs, and budget. This helps us assess whether we are the right fit and provides early alignment on project goals and timelines.

Step 2 — Consultation

We meet onsite to explore what’s possible for your property and evaluate existing conditions. We thoroughly review existing vegetation. During this visit, we identify any required reports or services such as geotechnical, arborist, surveying and/or soil assessments to ensure a strong foundation for design and construction.

Step 3 — Concept Design & Research

Once the agreements have been signed off our design team begins developing concepts that reflect your aesthetic and functional needs. We research materials and design elements tailored to your space and present initial concepts with reference visuals. Together, we refine the design direction until it fully aligns with your vision.

Step 4 — Final Design & Permitting Coordination

We finalize the complete design package with detailed layouts and specifications. We also coordinate any necessary permits, reports, and surveying to support a seamless transition into construction.

Step 5 — Proposal

We issue a formal proposal that includes scope of work, material lists, and anticipated construction start dates.

Step 6 — Pre-Construction

Once approved, your project is added to our master schedule. We finalize material orders, ensure all permitting and reports are completed, and create detailed job binders for our site leaders—including schedules, drawings, and utility locates.

Step 7 — Handover & Planning

Our project manager and foreman meet to review design intent, construction sequencing, and site logistics. This ensures everyone is aligned for a smooth and efficient start on-site.

Step 8 — Construction

We begin with an onsite kickoff walkthrough, documenting existing conditions and confirming access considerations for both clients and neighbours. With logistics in place, construction begins—executed with precision and respect for your property.

Step 9 — Communication

Throughout the build, we provide weekly progress updates and communicate any design or scope adjustments promptly, ensuring transparency at every stage.

Step 10 — Completion

We conduct a thorough final walkthrough to ensure all work meets the design intent and your expectations. Project completion is celebrated with professional photography to showcase the finished space.
